For 3rd attempt course enrollment, please submit the following documents via email to your department coordinator:
- Instructor Approval Email
- Send an email to the instructor if you could take the course for the 3rd time.
- Forward the approval email to me ([email protected]). Please check the instructor information here.
- Petition Form (Download HERE)
- 'Semester/Year Involved': Spring 2025
- Request for: Repeat Course 3rd time: Course Name
- Petition Letter (A4, Times New Roman, 12 pt)
- Explain why you failed this course and how you plan to study and participate in the class.
- Please use formal language to convey your desperation to take this course.
- Please add your name and SBID#.

After submission, make an appointment with your coordinator here.

After your petition is approved, please pay $20 on SOLAR. Send the receipt to the department coordinator.
- SOLAR > Account Information/Payment > Account Summary/What Do I Owe? > Pay Tuition and Fees > Fill in 20.00 in the box, and click ‘Next’. > Make a payment by Credit Card > Take a screenshot of the receipt page and send it to the department coordinator.

You will not be able to enroll in the class by yourself. The Academic Registrar will manually register for the course on the first week of the semester.

Your petition may be denied if you plan to 3rd retake more than two courses.

You cannot GPNC on 2nd or 3rd retaking courses.
